The 'Unedited' box set is a "deluxe limited edition collectors box set" by British indie/post-punk rock band Editors, released on 28 March 2011. The set covers not only the three officially released albums, "The Back Room", "An End Has a Start" and "In This Light and On This Evening" freshly remastered and repressed, but also b-sides and rarities.

The first 200 pre-orders received a signed card with hand written lyrics by Tom Smith when in December 2010. In addition to that, the name of each person who pre-ordered the box before 16 December 2010 has been featured in the photo book as a special credit.

The box comes as a 12" presentation box, featuring:

7 CD's
7 Heavy Weight vinyl LP's
The full audio contents as a 320kbps MP3 download

The CD's and LP's are each packed in 12" book, whereas in addition the LP's are housed in individual wallets that are black or grey with the title for each volume on the front and the track list on the back.

The 'In This Light and on This Evening' CD album in the box also includes the live at Werchter version of "No Sound But the Wind", meaning this song appears twice on the box set, since it also makes an appearance on Volume IV of 'You Are Fading", the b-sides compilation. The b-sides collections are each expertly sequenced and play out beautifully as individual "new" albums.

"No Sound But the Wind (Full Band Version)", "A Thousand Pieces (Instrumental)" and "Bullets (Single Version)" are not marked as such on the track listings.

Editors made the following statement on their official site: "We've been picking through the archive recently, looking back at our 3 records, many many b-sides and some material that has never seen the light of day. It's been addictive. We can't leave it alone, much like picking a scab, and we've decided to package it all together and share it with our fans, officially. We've raided the vaults, searched through old CD-Rs, cassettes and photo albums and gathered it all together. We'd like you to have this music on any and every format we can produce and also share some photos and memories of the last 6 years in a volume that you can keep forever."
